Our bird park is open seven days week from 7am till 5pm, so please |
feel free to drop by for a relaxing visit or explore our amazing walking |
trails through litchi, pecan and macadamia nut groves where the
|
Msunduzi river runs through.The Umfolozi bird park is a great |
getaway for the whole family to enjoy a picnic.We also have a |
swimming pool for the kids to swim in as well. |

We do an organized tour with school groups. |
For R45.00 per learner/teacher we offer the following: |

*A basic snake demo |
*A guided walk on our walking trail passing through a pecan/ Macadamia nut |
plantation & Banana, Wild Fig and Litchi trees and a guide to tell the learners |
more about the indigenous plants and wild birdlife and practical hand on |
demonstration off invader & weeds as opposed to indigenous. Walking trail is + - |
50 minutes semi shaded walk and the learners will each receive an ice lolly halfway. |
*A guided walk through the bird park where the learners can feed the Ostriches, |
birds and the rabbits. |

*A hotdog, packet of chips and a juice for lunch |

*Teachers will be served with tea/coffee and juice and toasted sandwiches. |
